We are about 45 days away from packing up and leaving! God has been so good helping us with our funding for this mission trip. We are so close to our goal and know that everything remains in God's hands. Before we leave to El Salvador to serve, we are going on a three day camping trip and so we can grow as a team, and better yet, a family. I know God has a lot in store for each and everyone of us going on this trip - for if we all devote our lives to God, he will invest in us through countless ways.

I have a couple personal goals (that are now public) I want to accomplish. When we return for El Salvador I would love to be able to say I have completed these goals:
1) Most importantly, I want my relationship to grow as much as it can with the Lord while down there. I hope that different events and circumstances will be able to humble me and break me down before God, so that I become I better servant. I really pray that God can use me in a big way while down there, and better yet - the rest of my life.
2) I reaaallly want to master a second language! By the time I return I want to have perfected the Spanish language so I can start to learn another (hopefully).
3) I want to impact people in every way I can. I want God to use me in every way possible to impact other peoples lives just so they can know him.

I can't wait to start helping in the orphanage while we are down there! I am excited to just see an orphans eyes light up to know that someone cares about them enough to spend time with them. It will bring back good memories from the orphanages in Ukraine!

So, this is my blog. I've never written anything I guess, until now. I will be keeping this blog updated A LOT while we are down there - I will NOT be updating my facebook cause I do not like facebook all that much and it would be too distracting.

I pray that by reading this blog you will be encouraged to grow your walk in Christ as well as encourage others to do the same.

Much love!!
